New Zealand in Pictures … Part II
Here’s Part Two of our trip to New Zealand. Again I understand if you don’t want to look through someone elses vacation photos but I couldn’t leave photos out from our trip. This set is of Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and Mount Cook. This part of the trip was absolutely breathtaking! I could not believe everything that we saw.
Also during this part of the trip my fear of heights got tested to the max. I had to cross two suspension bridges (which means four times across total) to complete the hike (I also don’t really hike so this was turning out to be an adventure I wasn’t too keen on) to Mount Cook. Now for those of you who don’t know I am deathly afraid of heights, like deathly. So this was a huge accomplishment for me. It took a couple attempts, holding on for dear life and having Jeff coach me through the whole thing but I did it. To say I am over my fear of heights would be a lie all though I did cross both bridges safely so I feel that is a HUGE accomplishment. The views we saw were some of the best in my life, not saying it was totally worth it but there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Not sure I will be doing anything like that again anytime soon, but I enjoy seeing some amazing scenery and loved spending time with Jeff doing something he truly loves.
Hope you enjoy our trip through New Zealand!
Only one more post with New Zealand photos I promise and then I will write some posts but know that Thailand photos are just around the corner as well.
